For the quality grocers, butchers and food stores in Tasmania we are pleased to announce that we are now distributing Western Plains Grain-Fed Farmed rabbits in retail ready M.A.P packed units of approximately 6oog. These packs are beautifully labelled and contain half a rabbit portioned for the home cook. They are weight bar- coded and are in cartons of 12 packs, recipes are provided. Rabbit meat is a fine-grained white meat. It is exceptionally lean and much lower in fat than any other domestic meat. It is also lower in cholesterol, saturated fatty acids and sodium.
Rabbit is rich in protein, and also has higher levels than any other domestic meat. It's an excellent source of zinc, selenium and vitamin B12.
